About Lucky Lab Coffee
Lucky Lab Coffee Co. began as a faint idea in Hawaii, took shape in Charleston, SC, and eventually opened its doors from a little black truck in Austin, Texas. The little coffee truck traversed Austin, sharing cups of craft coffee with thousands of wedding guests, attendees at local events and festivals, employees at dozens of corporate offices, and many loyal students on the University of Texas campus.
Answering an ‘in search of’ ad on a food truck site led to a partnership with Urban Outfitters. At the time, they were interviewing the top local mobile concepts to help round out their newly coined concept space on the edge of West Campus. The company embraced the exciting opportunity and built an open-air trailer. They were the only concept that survived in the space, and a year later, UO offered them the chance to open their flagship brick-and-mortar location right next door. They’ve never looked back and have become a home for many local West Campus students, pups, faculty, neighbors, and others at their location for the past six years.
Goal
Lucky Lab needed a way to connect to its wide audience in Austin and create a new community hub in Dripping Springs.
